Description
Veneer Splicer
make Fisher & Rückle
type Impetum 1200
built 2018
(was only 1 year in use)
For the gluing and joint-free longitudinal splicing of parallel joined veneer strips in one process with standard urea-based glues.
Splicing capacity:
thru feed speed (practically experienced values) approx. 20 - 30 m/min.
Technical data:
veneer strips length (in fibre direction) 380 - 3800 mm
veneer strip width (cross to fibre direction) 45 - 1200 mm
veneer strip thicknesses 0.4 - 1.5 mm
feed speed 5 - 40 m/min.
throat 1200 mm
Features:
During breaks the chains are prevented from damage by stoppage, at the same time the glue in the glue pot keeps in motion to avoid lump formation.
- Data storage of the machine settings for recurring orders.
- Electric drives separate for chain drive and glue application.
- Glue application onto the newly fed veneer strip, which improves the joint quality significantly.
- Solid and almost wear-free stainless steel transport chains.
- 6 Heating zones for different temperature settings.
- Infinitely variable splicing speeds.
- Touch panel with temperature, speed and pressure display.
- Easy access to glue pot for quick refilling or cleaning.
- Extended operation time of glue due to integrated glue pot cooling.
- Glue dosage for a constant and even glue application without overglue.
