The cross cutter is a machine for creating bandsaw effects on wooden surfaces, including parquet floorboards.
The adjustment options for the belt speed, the cross cutter speed, the angle setting and the pressure on the workpiece surface provide great flexibility to achieve the desired effect.

To create random bandsaw effects on wooden surfaces, the cross-cutting unit has individual pressure shoes that create a "hit and miss" effect on the wooden surface. This creates a more natural look.
